The Yutong double decker bus purchased by the capital public transport company of Macedonia, arrived in Skopje, capital city of Macedonia March 1, 2011.

“The city of Skopie, Macedonia, ordered 202 double decker buses from China’s producer Yutong Group for a cost of some ?6 million.

The bus is similar to the RouteMaster double deckers which were in use in Skopje around 50 years ago. A promo drive in the streets of Skopje was held yesterday.”

It is learned Yutong signed the agreement of 202-unit double deckers with Macedonian Ministry of Transport and Communications on April 14, 2010, which was the biggest order of the company in Europe. The order is also the amount ever of Macedonian governmental investment.
