165 ZK6126HG diesel buses delivered by Yutong to Madinah have been put into operation. This is another milestone in the strategic cooperation between Yutong and Saudi Public Transport Company (SAPTCO). The newly delivered 12-meter diesel buses (ZK6126HG), a flagship model in Yutong’s diesel bus series, are renowned globally for their superior quality, robust safety features, and exceptional durability. Designed specifically for Madinah, Saudi Arabia’s extreme summer heat, the ZK6126HG comes with a high-performance A/C boasting a cooling capacity of up to 38,000 Kcal/h. This system rapidly cools the interior and maintains a comfortable temperature even in scorching conditions. Featuring an intelligent ECO mode, it automatically adjusts airflow and cooling settings to reduce energy consumption without compromising passenger comfort. Whether enduring long journeys under the blazing sun or navigating crowded commutes during peak hours, passengers are able to experience a pleasant ride.

Beyond its exceptional comfort and efficiency, the ZK6126HG delivers superior reliability and safety. Its high-strength steel frame features a robust closed-ring structure for enhanced rigidity. The 165 units of this model recently repurchased by Saudi Arabia faced their first major test upon arrival—handling Ramadan transportation operations in Madinah. With 12-meter body and 35+2+1 seating layout, the bus offers a maximum capacity of 87 passengers. Throughout the operation period, the vehicles demonstrated excellent performance due to their heat resistance, high capacity, comfort features, and Yutong’s extensive experience in serving major events. During the recent Ramadan operations, the ZK6126HG fleet demonstrated exceptional performance. Data shows that Madinah’s bus system completed 7,768 operational shifts during Ramadan, transporting over 375,000 passengers, a remarkable increase of over 67%. This proves Yutong buses’ reliability and stability in meeting the city’s growing public transport demands.
